Migration to Azure IoT and strategic software improvements prepare an AI-driven predictive maintenance solution for scaling

A predictive maintenance company developed an AI-driven IoT device and platform solution to address the high maintenance costs of mechanical systems in large buildings. After a successful pilot, the company sought to scale across North America, but their home-grown platform running on-premises was not secure or reliable enough for the task. EXIT83 was engaged to advise the company and work with them to create strategic improvements that would enable greater scale, efficiency, and reliability. 

The resulting improvements provided a solid foundation of IoT infrastructure and improved user experiences. They can now optimize settings that help devices run more efficiently, helping customers save money and reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, the devices have the capability for future integration with smart building technologies.
